These changes do not really reduce the total compilation time, however they make some of the biggest header-only helpers used by plugins into shared libraries. This allows us to compile them only once (things like move-drag-interface and workspace-wall). Thus, we can avoid recompiling all related plugins when their code changes, and we get faster compilation times for the individual plugins. For example move.cpp is down to 2s from 4.5s.
